So I’ve been mucking around in Google Labs lately and been going back and fourth between whether or not I should bother playing w/ Aardvark.  For those of you who haven’t seen it, please take a look here:  http://vark.com.  My initial thought behind the use for this particular extension of Google was for the sake of finding candidates.  How you ask?  Well, simply looking at the role you’re working, on and submitting a question about the particular role.

What’s this do for me?  Well, Aardvark is supposed to bring you back and/or connect you with someone capable of answering your question.  This could be looked at as a form of rousing, and so I’d advise being careful in your usage, but I suspect it may also lead you to other contacts and referrals as a results.

I’ve decided to place a poll in this post to see what the general consensus is and if anyone has any experience using this particular tool in a recruiting/sourcing fashion.  Thanks for reading, thanks for voting, and if the consensus is positive, I’ll do a follow up/test and display my own personal results with it!
